This gasket is designed for later 5.0L applications that have a smooth rail oil pan. It will fit back to 1962 small blocks IF they are using a smooth rail pan like many performance aftermarket pans or Shelby aluminum pans are. It is not designed for stamped steel pans with ribbed rails.
